ZIUweb users can view the (themed) Maps listed below and simultaneously retrieve information associated with the maps.
ZIUweb main features
• Ziuweb is an online reference system on cartography and relevant databases;
• The Consortium updated/implements new maps and relevant infos;
• Each User type has an associated (personal) password to access the information
included in ZIUweb;
• this is a free service: users can freely access all the information included
in this cartographic application.
• all user categories share a common display of theme maps over a Gauss-Boaga basic geographical representation of regional cartography system;
• ZIU Consortium has the faculty to make TerraitalyTM Ortofoto available to users for display. Users may not save, print, or copy such digital images nor the Basic Cartography (partially or totally) that can be accessed through the application.
• Cartography accessible by ZIUweb is provided with indicative value only and may not replace law certifications at any title.
• Ziuweb is a dynamic system: available maps vary according to periodical online updates of new information (or theme maps) by the Consortium.

Instructions of use for ZIUweb
1. access (with or without password)
- insert your password and confirm to access ZIUweb. Each User type has a corresponding (personal) password to access the information included in ZIUweb;
- if you don't have a password, you can access ZIUweb clicking the "Access as guest" button;
- ZIUweb is accessible by a simple request to the Consortium.
2. ZIUweb windows
- After entering the password (or after clicking the "Access as guest" button) wait until the following basic window opens:
- the left side of the window allows to perform searches on map-related data, while the frame on the right display the theme map(s) (or basic cartography);
- Click the "Help" scrip below the ZIUweb logo to display a user-friendly guide to search options.
3. How to view map-related information
- Click the
button,
then click the desired point on the map. All the information related to the
graphic object are displayed in a new window.
4. How to view maps
- Click on the button

new window appears showing a list of available maps (by user type).Please contact the Consortium offices for any further information and/or request.
